Wow. Now that's pasta. Fresh made right up front. Delicious. The service is fast if you want (quick pasta in and out) or a longer meal with courses, wine, cafe, etc.

Not a tourist trap which is nice to find about Campo Di Fiori.

We'll be back on the next visit.

Finished our early entry Vatican museum around 11:45am this morning.  We are famished and need a pasta fix quickly!  Fortunata is only 15 mins away by foot.  So, we started to march to our destination with great anticipation since it opens at noon.  We got there at 12:05pm and the place is completely empty.  I was wondering if I have googled the wrong place as I was expecting a line at the door.  But since we were cold and hungry, we walked in anyway.  The staff greeted us at the door as I asked, "Are you guys opened?"  He is really nice and sits us right away.  The moment we sat down, there are a few groups of people came in immediately after us.  My kids said they were standing outside waiting as the glass door was closed.  I guess my hunger and frozen legs have blinded me from the surrounding completely.  :)
They have no menu in English which I find it odd as I think 95% of the people in the restaurant is tourists.   Google translate to the rescue!
We got four pasta dishes, mozzarella di bufala, and meatballs.  I would pass on the bufala and meatballs for sure.  Of course, I ordered the cacio de pepe, ragu gnocchi, and two other tomato based pasta.  I think the cacio de pepe is better than the one at Roma Sparita.  But, it's not my favorite dish thus far.  For this meal, my kid likes the cacio de pepe the best and I like the gnocchi the best.  Will I come back?  Probably not as we all like That's Amore pasta as compared to the other two restaurants we have tried so far.

There is a lady in the window making fresh pasta!! Man if that doesn't entice you to go in and eat idk what will.

The staff barely spoke English - just enough to order. Which actually makes for a much more authentic experience. The plates and cups were all made of clay, probably the cutest thing ever. And the food? Omg. The pasta was perfectly al dente. If I lived in Rome I'd be here all the time haha.

Simply amazing!  If you want authentic Italian...this is the place.  The ambiance is something out of a movie. The staff was very accommodating and so so kind. Watching the two women roll handmade pasta before your eyes that which was in my cabanara really eases the mind and reminds you that it's all truly handmade and real pasta.

The flavors was explosive with the ragu and the cabanara with bacon was unbelievable. Perfectly salted and so much taste to leave you wanting more. House wine coupled with a caprese and bread with oil started it all off.

Will definitely come back here "when in rome"
